Mindfulness for the Human Condition Sessions 1 and 2

Session 1:

Humans are built to have wandering, busy minds–this unique quality has helped us succeed as a species in many areas of life. That same busy-ness, however, can keep us from appreciating the smaller moments of daily life and make it hard to break out of autopilot. This series of 4 classes is designed for people who want to learn techniques to step out of autopilot, break the cycle of anxiety, and bring awareness to daily life. It is suitable for beginners as well as those who have had previous instruction but desire a refresher course.

Students may take this 4-week session alone, or choose to continue with the second 4-week session beginning March 2nd at the same time.

Schedule:

Week 1: Grounding in the Present Moment

Week 2: Reaction vs. Response

Week 3: Sensations in the Body

Week 4: Seeing Thoughts as Thoughts

Where: Bold Health, 561 Saxony Place, Ste. 101, Encinitas, CA 92024

When: Fridays, 10am-12pm, February 2nd-February 23rd.
